The Surfview bedroom offers privacy and luxury.
The enormous "Sea Mist Bathroom" adjoining the Surfview Room has:
A luxurious bathtub for unwinding after a busy day at the beach
Dual sinks
A dressing table, built-in hampers, walk-in closet, and
A glass shower and bidet.

The "Retreat Bedroom" is also a master suite
with its own bathroom and TV.
The Retreat Bedroom features Victorian furnishings
and garden views.
The adjoining "Rose Marble Bathroom"...
...has a marble-lined shower and small tub.
The "Blue Bedroom" offers flexible sleeping arrangements
with both a double and twin bed.

Blue Bedrooms to the main floor living areas.

The fenced back yard adjoins both the Retreat and Blue Bedrooms.
In addition to interior stairs, you can access the back yard from the upstairs the Family Room and Surfview Room.
Just off the breakfast room is a patio that is perfect for
"al fresco" dining.
You can barbeque with either a gas or charcoal BBQ.

Our neighbors have luxurious oceanfront homes.
You can take a short walk to reach the public beach via these stairs just south of Shore Drive without ever having to cross the street!
The Terramar Neighborhood is sandwiched between the Carlsbad State Beach both to the north and the south.
Terramar has the best tide pools in North San Diego County and
Terramar has an offshore surf break, making it one of San Diego County's premier surf spots. However waders, body surfers and boogie board riders are also welcomed.
EXPLORING CARLSBAD
You can walk or ride your bike along the beachfront
to the Village, Carlsbad's charming "old town"
filled with restaurants, shops and antique stores.
The Carlsbad Village Visitor Center can help you plan your stay.
The Carlsbad Premium Outlet Mall, which offers high-end discount shopping, is a five minute drive from the house.
Leo Carrillo Ranch is a Carlsbad Park
that was donated by a famous actor.
By all means, take the kids to LEGOLAND, only 5 minutes from the house. You can buy discount multi-day passes at the local Costco.
The Museum of Music Making is also close by.
You can channel your inner "Charles Lindbergh" by taking a bi-plane ride at Carlsbad's Palomar Airport.
ATTRACTIONS WITHIN AN HOUR'S DRIVE
San Diego Safari Park allows you to get up close and personal
with the animals, which are allowed to roam in large enclosures.
Check out the killer whales at Sea World.
Want to experience history from the time that California was part of Mexico? The San Luis Rey Mission, in nearby Oceanside, is one of the best-preserved of California's early missions.The small town of Del Mar hosts the county fair (late June), thoroughbred horse racing (July through Labor Day) and the rest of the year is a charming little beach town.
Just south of Del Mar is La Jolla, San Diego's most exclusive beach community.
